Founded in 1948 by Robert W. Quealy, Quealy & Son Funeral Home continues to be proudly family owned and operated. For over 75 years, families throughout the South Shore have come to know and trust that a member of the Quealy family is personally involved in every service we provide.
When Robert and his wife, Gertrude, settled in Abington, they established the town’s first funeral home. With the support of friends and neighbors, they built more than a business—they created a place of comfort and care, helping families through life’s most difficult moments with compassion, dignity, and a personal touch.
That same commitment continues today. Through generations, the Quealy family has remained deeply connected to the community, honoring each life with thoughtful, individualized service. We take great pride in ensuring that every family we serve feels supported, respected, and truly cared for.
